Which Therapy is right for me?..
With such an array of therapies available it's often difficult - and confusing to know which one to choose and what will be of most benefit to you...
Often the first question to ask yourself is - 'What do I want to get out of a Treatment?'.
Do you have a tight neck, back or shoulders which is causing pain / aching throughout the day or a restriction of movement?; maybe you have an injury from the gym or sport you play, or tired legs from marathon training? Alternatively you may just need some space to de-stress, relax or maybe just have a bit of a pamper? For these ailments Massage & Bodywork, in its various forms, can assist greatly. All forms of massage will improve circulation, the delivery of fresh bloody and nutrients to all areas of the body that are massaged on a physical level, and provide a sense of relaxation and well-being on a mental/emotional level.
Some therapies - such as Reflexology - can assist with conditions such as Diabetes, Diverticulitis, IBS, Menopausal Hot Flushes, PMT. Reflexology is such a powerful therapy as it persuades the body to re-balance physically and emotionally. It is now being recognized and recommended for those going through Cancer treatments - to help alleviate the side effects of Chemotherapy, and to help patients manage stress and have that well deserved time to just be and to relax.
Energy based therapies ~ such as Reiki, Chakra Balancing and Holistic Pulsing, can assist greatly in shifting mental and emotional blockages which are held within the body. These are fantastic for creating some essential head space, and a sense of inner peace and tranquility - which often lasts long after the treatment.
If you are having trouble sleeping, or wake in the mornings still feeling groggy; feeling like you need more sleep - any of the above therapies can help, however, this is where Meditation can really come into its own. With simple techniques you can take away with you, one can enable both mind and body to switch off and drift into a blissful sleep, with the added bonus of improving mental focus and concentration levels. Please see the meditation page for how this therapy works...
With such an array of therapies available at Back to Touch, many of these treatments can be combined. Each person is an individual, and one size does not fit all... Please feel free to contact me to discuss your requirements, and together we can create the perfect treatment just for you.
