What is Pulsing?

Pulsing is a style of bodywork that combines stretching, lifting and rotating with a continuous rhythmic rocking. A deep body-centred therapy, pulsing is essentially a soothing treatment that swiftly creates a sense of security and encourages total relaxation.

Like all forms of holistic massage, pulsing works to relieve the stresses that build up in our minds and bodies. The rocking rhythm gently shakes free tensions held in tight muscles and encourages the brain to enjoy the feeling of magical movement. As we begin to go with the flow we reconnect with the dancer within, the one we knew as a small child, before the worries of the world started to weigh us down.

Internal barriers crumble as the dance goes on; deep-seated fears and worries gently work free as we experience a renewed sense of self-awareness.
At the deepest level, pulsing works on our energy lines to remove blockages that can arise as a result of emotional or physical tension.
Re-energised and in tune with ourselves once more, we are ready to continue our journey.
