What do I need to bring / wear?
You will need to bring the following to each Class...
-- Cushion - preferably NOT a pillow as this is associated with sleep
-- Blanket / large towel to cover yourself - ones body temperature tends to drop by a degree or so when we relax so this is to keep from being distracted throughout the meditation
-- Towel to roll up and put under your knees if you have any lower back issues.
-- Bottled Water
-- You will need to wear comfortable clothing - the tummy, and therefor your breathing, need to be unrestricted. You will be asked to loosen / remove belts to enable this.
-- If you have any special requirements - i.e. are unable to lie down on your back for a length of time due to an existing condition - please let me know. The position you are in for Meditation can be adapted to your needs.

Do I need to have done Meditation before?
In a word - No.
Whether you've tried meditation before (of any form), or never tried it - most will gain benefit from Meditation. As long as you are able to lie down or sit in a chair and listen with your eyes closed - then you can meditate.
You don't have to have any particular belief system, or religious denomination - this Meditation Practice is open to all.

Do I have to practise Yoga to do Yoga Nidra?
Absolutely not.
No experience of Yoga or Meditation is required to gain benefits from this meditation practice. All you need to be able to do is to sit or lie down for about an hour, during which you listen to guided instructions and visualisations, and then to reflect upon how this has made you feel.

Do I need to attend every week to gain benefit?
Although continued practise of Yoga Nidra enables you to go deeper into the Delta brainwave state. In my experience - most people gain benefit and feel relaxed after just one session.
The aim of facilitating the Meditation classes is to give people the tools and a time/space to relax.
Whether you attend once a month, bi-weekly or as and when it fits in with life, I'm sure you will feel the benefits of this powerful practice.
If attending a Meditation Series - like the Chakra Meditation Series - attendance for the full course is advised to reap the full benefit. (Full payment for the series is paid in advance).

Just drop me an email (see contact page) saying which evening(s) you wish to attend - and if you are booking for any other attendees. I will then email you a short form with basic details - which you can either email back to me or bring with you completed on the night...
If for some reason you are unable to attend or are held up, please let me know before the class start time on the the evening of the class. This is so I know not to expect you and hold up prodeedings in atticipation of your arrival.
