A new section of the Back to Touch website appearing this week...
ARTICLES.
This section will contain articles of various conditions (which also feature in the Back to Touch Newsletter), symptons, causes and how Therapies available at Back to Touch can assist in treatment, along with some useful tips on selfcare where appropriate.

The articles will be in BLOG format so will be searchable either by date or subject - and will build up over time.  This will hopefully help you in deciding what therapy is right for you - or maybe even just raise your awareness about the range of conditions that Complementary Therapy can assist with - be it for yourself or a friend/family member/ colleague.

Happy reading and as always if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Training for the London to Brighton Bike Ride is in full throttle and the mileage of each training session is increasing to ensure a successful ride on 19th June 2011.

It seems that which ever route I take - hills are involved especially for the longer rides - and with the recent windy weather has made it especially tough - but I am however thankful for the sunshine and the open fields and fresh air...

I have a donation page set up

Every little helps toward research into the biggest killer disease in the UK. I' sure everyone knows someone with high blood pressure at least let alone other heart conditions.

I am pleased that my first Facebook Target for Back to Touch has been reached and the Page now has it's own user Account...
Now onwards and upwards as the saying goes - to spread the word of Back to Touch further - so that people can have access to the therapies they need.

Many of our fears are tissue-paper-thin, and a single courageous step would carry us clear through them.  ~Brendan Francis

A ‘New Meditation Series’ is starting soon – a series of 7 meditations – each focusing on the main Chakras / energy centres in the body. These are guided meditation sessions (also classed a mindfulness meditations) – where no previous experience of meditation is required. The guided meditation initially follows a sequence to quieten the mind and create inner space. Once in ‘deep meditation’ you will then be guided to look with your ‘inner eyes’ at your Chakras (focussing on a different one each week) and assist in rebalancing, re-energising, calming each area.

There are limited spaces on these sessions – so if by the time you come to book the spaces are already taken – I will put you on a contact list for the next series – or even put on an additional series depending on demand.

More information can be found via the following link:- http://www.backtotouch.co.uk/meditation.html

As with any service industry, we are only as good as our client recommendations... Word of mouth is by far the best form of advertising a business such as Back to Touch can have. And to be able to keep doing what – I consider – we do best, and continue the passion for assisting people in improving their overall health and well-being – I would love people to pass on the good word and recommendations to friends, colleagues, associates...

As I don’t believe in ‘something for nothing’ – in return for your recommendations and people booking a treatment, I will give a free treatment to those recommenders – for every 2 new clients booked – not a bad exchange for passing on our details and helping someone improve their well-being...

If you find a newsletter or Article of particular interest/use – please pass it on to friends and colleagues, there maybe something else of interest to them, especially as time goes on and the articles build up – or pass on via the ‘Like’ button at the bottom or each blog or article... Or even 'Share' the link from the Back to Touch page on Facebook.

Also if you wish to put pen to paper or fingers to keyboard to write a testimonial, then I would be grateful of you taking the time to help move Back to Touch forward.

The past six months has been an interesting journey on many levels - and I have, at times, felt like a butterfly in that struggle to emerge from the cocoon. With the season of Spring well on it’s way, I welcome the suns warmth and being able to spend time outside seeing nature do it’s miraculous thing, it somehow gives me the energy and focus to clear out the cobwebs, spread my wings to see what colours have been ‘painted’ on them...

For me,this is the perfect time of year for reviewing goals, tweaking them and taking steps to achieve them... I have already completed a 28day course – which has had a great effect on me personally, helping remove some of the ‘inner blockages’ and take a look at ones conscious – subconscious interaction and how it affects our daily lives.

As many of you will know the body/mind/emotion link is an area of health and well-being which is at the very heart of the Back to Touch ethos – and how an ‘imbalance’ in any of these areas can affect our external world and the relationship both with us and others. This ethos combined with offering a wide range of therapies, which are taylor-made to your needs, makes Back to Touch truly unique. We never stop learning and growing – and in the process of continuous self-learning - feel it can only feed and enhance the therapies and treatments on offer.

Spring is definitely on its way and there have been signs of buds emerging on trees for a couple of weeks now..

I love this time of year and how the sunshine 'belies the chill' that is the signature of March and the emergent season.

It seems to me that Spring is, also, as much a state of mind as a physical change of season.  Moods brighten; windows open on sunny mornings to welcome the fresh air and push the stale out. People emerge from heavy winter coats and somehow seem to stand taller.

In terms of activity - physical activity starts to move into the open air - be it preparing the garden, kicking a ball about with children, going for a walk or run, and the great outdoors starts to replace the stale air of the gym.

This is also the time where 'New Year’s resolutions' are dusted off, revisited and given a breath of life, or training programs are being increased to push fitness that step further; certainly training for the London Marathon is racking up!

With all these changes to one’s lifestyle and bodies, it's great to tune into that sense of renewal- tapping into the renewed burst of energy ready to spring to life. At Back to Touch, we have a number of treatments which can assist you in stepping into spring with vitality. We can support you in sustaining the ‘spring enthusiasm’: helping you to make determinations and put plans into action, making sure your body can physically cope with the demands you place on yourself as you step boldly into the new season. We will help you to make your enthusiastic plans a practical reality through our tailor- made treatment programme.

Contact me to discuss your requirements.
